Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Ecuador were established on January 28, 1998.
Fields of cooperation
Together with the deepening of bilateral political dialogue, cooperation is ongoing between Ecuador and Georgia in the fields of economy, agriculture, environmental protection, in culture and education. In 2011 and 2012, based on principle of reciprocity, cultural days of Ecuador were held in Georgia and Georgian cultural days were organized in Ecuador as well. Parties cooperate within the International organizations. High and highest levels bilateral meetings are held within the various forums on a regular basis.
